Fall Matchmaking Conference October 17, 2006Northeast Regional Council to have Matchmaking Conference in South Portland ME7/12/06 -- The DoD Northeast Regional Council announced that this Fall's Matchmaking Conference will be held on October at the Sheraton South Portland Hotel in South Portland, ME. The Northeast Regional Council has designed and operates these Matchmaking Conferences twice a year throughout New England and New York. The event gives qualified small businesses and opportunity, in one day to meet more than 70 federal prime contractors and government agencies. The small businesses attendees have an opportunity to sign up for 10 minute session with the prime contractors and government agencies. The purpose of the 10 minute meetings is to introduce the small businesses product or service and to explore contract opportunities with the prime contractor or government agency.
